It’s summer, time to go swimming! In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you’ll find new creatures on your dives that have been updated to bring them to the game: marine animals! We have a list of all beings that can catch yours when you can find them, how big their shadows are in the sea, at what time you can meet them, and of course, how much the catch is worth. Also, check out our Guide to All Fish in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and the Guide to All Bugs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

This is how you catch Sea Creatures in ACNH.

Unlike bugs and fish, you don’t need any tools to bag the animals. After downloading the update (you can purchase ACNH 2.0 Items For Sale and order different swimwear styles), get a wetsuit and head to the beach. Then swim into the sea and watch out for dark shadows on the sea floor. By swimming with the movement of the left stick instead of pressing the A button, you can “sneak up” on shy marine animals. You dive down to grab the catch as soon as you reach the rising air bubbles. Unlike fish, marine animals only come in three shadow sizes: large, medium, and trim.

It would help if you still had models made of marine animals. But you can exhibit them as well as insects and fish in your apartment or on the island, and of course, hand them in at Eugen’s museum.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, every marine animal

Here you can find all 40 species of Sea Creatures. The information on the season relates to the northern hemisphere.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Tips – Weather, Wind, Visiting Friends

Do you spend time on the island every day? You know Animal Crossing: New Horizons inside out? You may have yet to hear of all ten secrets and professional tips in our article because there are many nice little things and mechanics hidden in the Switch game that you cannot easily find even after many hours of play.

Weather forecasts

The weather on your island does not correspond to the temperature in the real world, even if the time and time of year correspond to those in reality (at least if your console is set correctly). Therefore, it needs to be clarified whether it is raining, storming, or the sun is shining on your island when you switch on the console. But there is a way to find out what the weather will be like! For this, you need a TV for the game. The weather report reveals what you have to be prepared for! This is useful if you have a lot of flowers and want to avoid all of them being considered watered after a shower and thus multiply wildly, or if you hope to experience a meteor shower – it only occurs when the sky is clear. The weather reports broadcast before noon relate to the current day and the broadcasts in the evening to the next day’s weather.

How the wind is

The wind’s direction on your island is determined when you create your island. It can come from the east or the west, and the rule changes at sunset. To know where the wind is blowing from, watch out for the smoke from chimneys. In strong winds, you can also recognize it by flowers or weeds. The knowledge is helpful if you are keen on the balloons with the gifts. These always spawn when the minutes are 0 and 5, for example, at 16:05 or 13:30. A spawn is unnecessary at these times. It can also be that no balloon appears. Shortly before the cut-off time, go to the east or west beach, depending on where your wind is coming from, and pace up and down to catch the potential balloon.

Visiting friends

The numerous handicraft instructions for creating furniture, accessories, and decoration are popular with every player. Most know that when you start the game, you can find a message in a bottle with a recipe on the beach. But there is the possibility of dusting off even more! It is possible (and happens to us regularly) that a second message in a bottle washes up every day in the evening after 6:00 p.m. This does not happen to some players, but its reasons still need to be discovered. You may be one of the lucky ones to receive two bottles a day!

Your neighbors will give you further instructions, namely up to three if you are lucky. From morning to noon, from noon to 6 p.m., and from 6 p.m. to bedtime, a neighbor of yours can make something at the workbench. Sometimes you run into roommates at work less often but visit your residents regularly to catch the DIY recipe. You can tell whether your neighbor is at home by the smoke in the chimney or simply by looking at the window – when the resident has gone out, the curtains are closed.
